Nordiques win their first game back in Lewiston

The Maine Nordiques honored their community with an 18 second moment of silence and a moment of unity before their first game back in Lewiston since the events that occurred one week prior.

The Nordiques wasted no time giving their community something to smile about as Kellen Murphy would put one home just a minute into the game.

The Nordiques and Mountain Kings come together for an 18 second moment of silence

Kellen’s goal would set the tone and the Nordiques would get additional contributions from Ryan Panico for his first of the season, Jake Bernadet and Cole Hipkin to make it 4-0 Nordiques after the first.

The Nordiques were helped out by their Goaltender Carter Richardson who stopped 17/19 and made some key saves. The Mountain Kings pulled the game to a two goal affair but Nick Bernardo would seal the deal and the Nordiques would win in honor of their community 5-2.
