The Maine Nordiques took on the Northeast Generals for two games on the road
Friday:
The Nordiques found themselves down to start the game but Jake Berandet would respond to tie things at one. That would spark a stretch of 6 straight goals from the Nordiques as Liam Gilmartin, Charlie Tardif, Kellen Murphy, David Helledy and Zion Green would all find the back of the net and Carter Richardson would lead the way in net with 23 out of 25 saves en route to a 6-2 Nordiques victory
Saturday:
The Nordiques found themselves down again to start the game midway into the first period. Tomek Haula and Charlie Tardif would go back to back following the Generals goal but the generals would tie it up before the end of the first. The Nordiques however, turned on the heat as they recorded 4 goals in the second period as Tomek Haula, Nils Forselius would add two and Cole Hipkin would add another followed by a final tally from Shane Kozlina and 39/42 saves from Carter Richardson on the way to a 7-2 Nordiques sweep
