The Nordiques were riding into a Wednesday contest winners of 4 in a row against the New Hampshire Mountain Kings for Margarita’s rivalry night. It would kick off a Nordiques stretch of a 3 game in 4 day stretch right in front of Nordique Nation at The Colisee.
Wednesday, December 13th vs Mountain Kings:
The Nordiques got off to an early power play, something that was common in the game was the Nordiques going to the man advantage, they saw 11 power plays but were only able to take advantage of two of them. The East second best PK in the Mountain Kings got the job done but it would give way to the Mountain Kings power play. The Nordiques successfully killed it off and Laurent Trepanier turned on the jets for a goal to make it 1-0 Nordiques.

The Second period was the Nordiques best period all week as Nick Ramm opened the scoring off of a rebound in front early in the period, it was sandwiched between 3 power plays for the Nordiques including a 4 minute double minor power play that carried over into the second.

Tomek Haula would bury a one timer off a great setup from Nils Forselius and Chalres Tardif to make it 3-0 after two periods.

The third period started with a Charles Tardif 5 on 3 power play goal to really put his team in the driver’s seat. Adam Moller made 38/39 stops as Forselius had another goal to close out the game and give the Nordiques a commanding 5-1 win.

Friday, December 15th vs Philadelphia Rebels

With 5 minutes left to go it was Nils “Nails” Forselius who found the back of the net to make it 1-0 Nordiques and with the goal came the reign of the teddy bears onto the ice.

The second period was the Nordiques period all weekend long and it only took 44 seconds for Chalres Tardif to record his league leading 21st goal of the season. With the goal, Tardif now also sits just three goals behind Stefan Owens single season goals record with 24.

David Helledy would add his 6th of the season and Cole Hipkin would tip home a JP Steel shot to make it 4-0 Nordiques. The Rebels would add 2 in the third but Tommy Heaney Shutdown the Rebels and made 36/38 saves in a 4-2 Nordiques win.

Saturday, December 16th vs Philadelphia Rebels:
The Nordiques welcomed Santa Claus to town to drop the puck prior to the game

The first period started with Matt Lewis returning to the lineup and putting home his 3rd of the season Ryan Panico also returned to the lineup and got an assist. It was 1-0 Nordiques after the first.

The second period was back and forth which saw Carter Richardson making some huge saves to keep his team ahead. The Nordiques would head to the PP but it would be uneventful.

The third period got chippy but Liam Gilmartin would tip home a Nick Bernardo shot to make it 3-0 en route to the Nordiques first shutout of the season as Carter Richardson stopped all 29 shots he faced.
