Nordiques split with Titans

The Maine Nordiques took on the New Jersey Titans for a 2 game set in Middletown New Jersey

On Friday the Nordiques got off to a hot start as Charles Tardif got on the board to make it 1-0 Nordiques, unfortunately it was an all Titans second period as they were able to record 3 goals to go up 3-1 after two periods of play. The Nordiques would be able to find the back of the net on a Charles goal. The Nordiques would pull their netminder but the Titans would find the empty net twice to seal the 5-2 win.

Saturday the Nordiques looked for a win after the loss, it was Nordiques captain Charles Tardif getting it done again with a goal to open the scoring midway into the first period. The Titans would counter with one in the second but Carter Richardson who would finish with 29/30 saves would make some game changing stops. The Nordiques were hungry to tie it up in the third period and they came out flying as Top Prospect Tomek Haula found the back of the net midway through the period to give the Nordiques the 2-1 win.
