The Maine Nordiques took on the Rochester Jr Americans looking to keep their 6 game win streak going at The Colisee.
The Americans got off to a quick start recording back to back goals to start the game. The Nordiques however would get a chance to get it back on a 5 on 3 power play but would be unable to convert as the Americans would kill it off and add another goal to make it 3-0 after the first period of play.

The Nordiques were hoping for a better start in the second period and they got it with a quick Kellen Murphy goal however the Americans would respond just seven minutes later and would get their three goal lead back.

The Americans would find the back of the net early in the third period as well and take a 5-1 victory bringing the Nordiques win streak to a close.

Saturdays contest had the Americans go out to a lead midway into the first period and they would hang onto the 1-0 lead after the first thanks to some key stops from newcomer Adam Moller who would record his first career NAHL win in his first start.
Nils Forselius doesn’t let a lose stick stop him from cashing in
The Americans would hold their lead until late into the second when Luke Chappelle would go end to end and find the back of the net on a goal that was later named the NAHL top play of the week to tie the game late in the period.
The third period started with a quick Nils Forselius goal which gave the Nordiques the lead just six minutes into the frame. The Americans tried to push back but Adam Moeller was strong in net and didn’t give into the Americans attack. With less than two minutes remaining the Americans pulled their goalie and Jake Bernadet would cash into the empty net to give his team the 3-1 victory.
