Nordiques second leading scorer Jake Bernadet has announced his Commitment to further his hockey career at St Lawrence university!
Jake Bernadet currently has recorded 31 points in 32 games played headed into the holiday break and was red hot this past weekend with a trio of assist. The South Burlington Vermont native has become an Instant locker room favorite with his contagious smile and positivity.
When asked about Jake Head Coach and GM Nick Skerlick said
“We are excited beyond expression for Jake and the Bernadet family. You talk to a lot of players from the Western Canadian Leagues in the recruiting process. You hear a lot of prospects urging an idea to play closer to the schools for visibility as they feel it may be more beneficial for their exposure. Here, You have a young man aging out in his junior hockey career who not only made the choice to be closer to Division 1 institutes but also took advantage when eyes are on players in this league (The North American Hockey League) consistently! It’s a great story, and just the way Bernie plays makes you chuckle as he has genuinely energized his production to 13 goals, 18 assists and a +29 rating in his current campaign.
He further stated: “I’d like to extend a congratulations to the Boston Management Group who was great during the process, Shift Sports and Entertainment, and the Saint Lawrence Hockey Program with this announcement.”
