It was a battle for first place in the NAHL’s east division as the Maine Nordiques who are in first took on the maryland Black Bears at piney orchard ice arena in Odenton Maryland
Nordiques take warmups before a big battle
The Nordiques got off to a good start scoring late into the first off a goal from Shane Kozlina. The Black Bears would respond however with 2 goals in the second and 2 in the third before St Laurence commit Cole Hipkin found the back of the net but it was too little too late as the Black Bears hung on for a 4-2 win.

On Saturday It was another battle for first place at Piney Orchard ice arena in Maryland as the top spot in the NAHL’s east division heats up the Maine Nordiques looked to avenge a 4-2 loss but got off to a slow start down 2-0 after the first on a power play goal. The Nordiques would try to find the back of the net the Black Bears would lead 3-0 after two periods of play. The Nordiques couldn’t find any scoring as they were shut out and fall back into 2nd place by a single point in the standings.
Carter Richardson awaits a faceoff
The Nordiques will travel to Hookset New Hampshire next weekend for a 2 game set against the New Hampshire Mountain Kings
