The Maine Nordiques hit the road for their shortest road trip of the year in Hookset New Hampshire
They were taking on the Mountain Kings for their 2nd out of 3 games in the weekend set. Things had a slow start but the Nordiques were behind late in the period due to a shorthanded tally from the Kings. Nordiques newcomer Liam Gilmartin however would tie it just a minute later. The kings were quick to react however and after a wild stretch it was 2-1 Kings at the end of 1.
The Nordiques had another slow start in the second however Liam Gilmartin would add his second of the game and season late into the second period to tie it
The Nordiques paced themselves well in the third and as time was winding down and overtime looming in the distance, Army west point commit Kellen Murphy buried one and gave his team the 3-2 victory
