Kellen’s goal would set the tone and the Nordiques would get additional contributions from Ryan Panico for his first of the season, Jake Bernadet and Cole Hipkin to make it 4-0 Nordiques after the first.

The Nordiques were helped out by their Goaltender Carter Richardson who stopped 17/19 and made some key saves. The Mountain Kings pulled the game to a two goal affair but Nick Bernardo would seal the deal and the Nordiques would win in honor of their community 5-2.
