The Nordiques were trying to take a 2-0 series lead but The Titans strong start propelled them to the victory.

The first period started with some good Nordiques offense but a turnover lead to a Titans breakaway goal and their first lead of the series. The Nordiques were suffocated in their own zone by The Titans forecheck and unable to gain offensive zone time and pressure leading to another Titans goal. 2-0 Titans after 1st period.

The Nordiques bounced back with a better 2nd period which was back and forth action but no goals were scored until Stefan Owens won a face-off back to Cooper Swift, who shot wrister that generated a juicy rebound in front where Cannon Green was standing to pull it within 1 goal.

The Nords had a good start to the 3rd period but were then quickly silenced by a Titans rush goal. The Nordiques had a good penalty kill on a tripping penalty but weren’t able to turn the momentum into offense. The Nordiques then went to a power play with less than 4 minutes to play. Ty Outen was at the bench for a 6 on 4 power play but the Nordiques couldn’t capitalize and The Titans were able to burry the empty net goal to knot the series at 1.
