The Maine Nordiques are proud to announce that three year Nordique David Helledy has committed to further his hockey career at Bentley University!
David Helledy came into the Nordiques organization as a late addition in the 2021-2022 season where he suited up inn the last 7 games of the season. He returned to the Nordiques full time in the 2022-2023 season where he played in 55 games and recorded 6 goals and 15 assist good for 21 points to help his team get to the East division final.
David also showed up on one of the grandest stages in the NAHL showcase where he potted a goal and an assist against the impressive USNTDP.
This season (as of 10/19/2023) David Helledy has recorded two goals and nine assist for 11 points and leads his team in the points category for defenseman. David Helledy sits second in the division for points by a D-man and looks to continue his dominance not only in the fall at Bently but through the rest of the season to try and get the Nordiques back into the East final and through to Robertson cup play.
The Maine Nordiques organization wishes David all the best in his future hockey career and can’t wait to see what he will do this season!
