The Maine Nordiques, of the North American Hockey League, are proud to announce that Casper Söderling has committed to the American International College!
Casper Söderling is a native of Stockholm, Sweden and came to the Nordiques as their first ever draft pick which was first overall in the 2019-2020 NAHL entry draft.
Casper came to the Nordiques on day one and instantly got the attention of the Nordiques coaching staff. Casper is a threat on both sides of the puck and on the special teams as well. Söderling racked up twenty eight points in the 2019-2020 season and was a +6 last season with 17 points. In total Casper has played in 94 NAHL games and is set to break 100 when he joins the Nords later on this month.
When asked about Casper Söderling Head Coach Matt Pinchevsky said “Casper Söderling embodies the Maine Nordiques culture. He loves being on the ice, he loves his teammates, and he loves the game. Casper is very competitive, and along with his skill set; he will truly make an impact at the next level. The staff at AIC will be excellent for his next step.
