The Maine Nordiques of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce Caden Pattison has committed to play NCAA D3 Hockey at Albertus-Magnus college in the fall.
Caden Pattison has been with the Nordiques organization since the Inaugural 2019 season; before that with the ISS kings organization (now known as the Maine Nordiques Development Program, MNDP). Caden Pattison was determined from day one to show what he was capable of; he did exactly that. In the 2019-2020 season Pattison started the season playing for the MNDP program, suiting up for the 18U squad; on November 15, 2019 Caden got the call up to the NAHL and made an immediate impact.
The Nordiques played host to the Johnstown Tomahawks for a two game set. In game one, Caden Dropped the gloves and made his presence known, physically, that he had the grit to play in the NAHL. In game two of that series, Caden found the back of the net with his family in attendance for his first NAHL goal. Since that game Caden became a fan favorite at the Colisèe and was beloved in the community.
In the 2020-2021 season, Caden laced up for a full season of play in the NAHL, recording fourteen points in fifty-one regular season games. Caden didn’t stop there. As May hockey and playoffs came around, Caden scored ten points in five games; including two goals to help his squad claim their first East Division banner in franchise history.
The Lake Stevens,WA native finished with a career total of thirteen goals and twenty-nine assists for a total of fourty-two points. General Manager Eric Soltys said: “having gotten to know Caden for a few years, it will be hard not to see him at the rink everyday. He’s a warrior of a player, a leader on and off the ice and an outstanding human being. “
Nordique Nation wishes the best of luck to Patti and his future, not only in hockey, but in his academics as well!
